Coffee and Conversation Leads to Community Action
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Coffee and Connect community event on Tuesday, March 10th, at the beautiful Witton Lakes Eco Hub.
Erdington residents are invited to share their concerns about life in their community directly with stakeholders like West Midlands Police.
Free and friendly advice
The Energy Advice team from Witton Lodge Community Association (WLCA) will also be in attendance alongside colleagues from the Welfare and Benefits team. They will be letting people know how they can save money on their energy bills and claim financial support depending on their circumstances.

Bring people together
Shane Wedderburn, Flourishing Communities Service Manager at WLCA, said: “Our community is at its best when we work together.
“The aim of Coffee and Connect is to move beyond identifying the issues that residents face and work together to find the solutions.“By bringing residents and local services under one roof we can brainstorm ways to tackle the problems
impacting local lives.”
Coffee and Connect will also give people the opportunity to learn about the activities and support on offer at Witton Lakes Eco Hub.
