We provide tailored services in the following:
- Help with CV Writing, including skills-based CVs and capturing transferable skills
- Job Search support via job clubs and 1-2-1 job search support with a dedicated coach
- Interview Skills and Techniques – face-to-face and video call interviews
- Digital Literacy – Improve your IT skills using laptops and Wifi from our centres
- Basic Numeracy and English – improve your English and Maths skills
- Confidence and Communication sessions
- Advice about Training Courses available with Witton Lodge Community Association and external training programmes
- Volunteering Opportunities – volunteer with Witton Lodge Community Association and other organisations to gain valuable experience
- Enterprise and Self-Employment support – sessions available on starting a new business
- Access to local vacancies and large employer opportunities
We work with local partners, like Job Centre Plus, to deliver bespoke support to registered job seekers at sites across North Birmingham, including Perry Barr, Erdington and Newtown job centres.

Want to start your own business but don’t know where to begin? We can give you the tools and resources to help you succeed. You will find out how to choose the right ideas, research your market, write a business plan, submit applications for funding, and much more.
Support is available for:

Witton Lodge Community Association Small Grants
Do you have an enterprising idea that you want to make a reality? If the answer is yes, and your idea has a direct benefit to the community here in Perry Common, then you could apply for one of our Small Grants.
We award up to £500 for community groups, clubs, local start-up businesses and projects – that we can clearly see will benefit the local community here in Perry Common.
