RECEPTIONIST & CENTRE SUPPORT VOLUNTEER
Hours: 6-hours minimum per week
Location: Erdington Wellbeing Centre, Erdington High Street
Accountable to: Health & Wellbeing Development Manager
Expenses: Travel expenses will be reimbursed
The main purpose of the role is to provide a friendly, professional and welcoming environment for service users, as well as providing effective and professional support and assistance to the Health & Wellbeing Development Manager and other staff. Volunteers will welcome service users, partners and guests, and inform the appropriate staff members of their arrival. Volunteers will also take telephone calls and direct the calls to the relevant staff member or take messages.

You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall; helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties Team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.
