VOLUNTEERING DEVELOPMENT WORKER
Salary: £21,000 – £24,000: 37 hrs per week – Initial contract until 30th September 2021 with extension subject to funding
Witton Lodge Community Association is seeking an experienced individual with a passion for volunteering to lead on the development of volunteering internally and in communities across Erdington.
Working with others to create opportunities and embed volunteering across a range of projects and initiatives, this will be a busy and varied role that will draw on multiple existing and new projects.
A key focus of this role will be building and strengthening partnership work with a range of existing and new voluntary groups in order to collaborate, co-ordinate and grow the involvement of volunteers. For the full job description click on the link below.

HEALTH & WELLBEING OFFICER

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Flourishing Community Services team to deliver community-based support and services which improve the long-term health and wellbeing of North Birmingham residents.
Working alongside local partners and stakeholders you will use tools such as social prescribing, neighbourhood networking and health creation to change attitudes and behaviours that enable residents to lead flourishing and independent lives.

You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall; helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties Team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.
