Job Opportunities

£20,000 – £24,000 (37 hrs per week)

Witton Lodge Community Association is a pioneering community anchor organisation and housing provider creating opportunities for local people to take action to improve their lives. Our vision is of good quality homes, services and facilities that enable people to flourish in a safe, clean and friendly community that people are proud of.

Witton Lodge Community Association currently owns and manages 190 properties (40 Extra Care) within Perry Common, Birmingham. We are a non-registered social landlord with an excellent reputation for providing a quality housing service, combined with a range of opportunities that improve the quality of life for our tenants and residents.

You will build on our successful housing management service; working with our tenants, colleagues and partners to provide an excellent housing service – including supporting our tenants to maintain their tenancy; monitoring rental income and arrears and processing repair requests.

You will also work with the wider staff team and partners to maximise opportunities for tenants to engage in a wide range of Flourishing Community initiatives.

Witton Lodge Community Association is seeking an experienced individual to join our Living Well team to improve the Health & Wellbeing of older residents in North Birmingham.

Working with and delivering alongside the local community and stakeholders you will use tools such as Social Prescribing to change attitudes and behaviours that enable older residents to lead flourishing and independent lives.

Volunteer With Us

Do you want to be part of an exhilarating experience?  Getting involved in new projects, learning new skills and helping your local community at the same time?  Whether you are looking to boost your skills or simply want to get out of the house and meet new people, then we have a volunteering opportunity that suits you.

You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall;  helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties Team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.

We are a friendly and welcoming team and genuinely appreciate the help of our volunteers.  What’s more, all your volunteering will directly benefit the local community here in Perry Common and far beyond.
