Funding Advice Boosts Community Groups
The CVFSE (Community, Voluntary, Faith and Social Enterprise) initiative has fostered a collaborative network for organisations to share resources and best practices. At the latest advice workshop, community groups met to discuss funding in 2025 and strategies for successful applications.
As Steve Sharma, Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator, explained, “Navigating the funding landscape…can be very complicated. This workshop gave people valuable insight into what makes a good application, which funders they should target and how to create a legacy relationship with them.”
Erdington Baths Turns 100!
Erdington Baths opened its doors on the 6th of May 1925, marking its place as a cherished community space for Erdington residents to connect and make memories. The anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on these moments and celebrate these bonds.
Erdington Walking Group marked this milestone with a commemorative walk on Monday 5th of May, walking from the former Erdington Baths to Erdington Court Bowls, who are also celebrating their centenary.
