This month, we shed light to our Information and Guidance services and our expert team who can support you with energy or benefit related issues. As the colder months dawn, our energy advisors have a comprehensive approach to ensure you save money whilst staying warm. The approach includes home energy audits, personalised guidance, strategies for better insulation as well as offering support with changing gas and electricity tariffs and, providing advice on dealing with suppliers and debt issues.

We also have a variety of energy-efficient giveaways for you, including LED lightbulbs, draught excluders and more. If you are worried about your gas and electricity bills, reach out to our qualified energy team for free advice and support.

As well as energy advice, we offer advice and support with benefits. Our team has the experience and training which allows them to support with a range of queries including, PIP, Attendance Allowance, Blue Badge Applications and more. Ladders of Opportunity – Funding available for 16 – 25 year olds

The second round of funding for the Ladders of Opportunity bursary is available until the 30th September for those aged 16-25 living in the Erdington Constituency with a household income of under £25,000 a year. With three inspiring applicants benefiting from the first round of funding, don’t miss your chance to join them in receiving financial support to help achieve your educational and career aspirations!

Community Volunteers Help Pocket Park Bloom

Community spirit flourished throughout September, as volunteers united to breathe new life into the former baths on Mason Road. Their collective efforts have transformed the area into a lively Pocket Park, revitalising the frontage with vibrant colours and greenery. Thank you to those who gave up their free time, this collaborative effort has breathed new life into the area, creating a space the community can be proud of!

Free Activities for your Body and Mind

Witton Lodge Community Association offers a range of FREE activities across our four hubs within the Erdington Constituency. Whether your interested in improve your physical health through tai-chi and yoga, enjoy the autumnal weather with bike rides or sharpen your mind with IT skills and chess lessons, there is something for all interests and ages.
