Welcoming Our Community to Step Inside Erdington Baths: A Vision for Transformation!
In August, Witton Lodge Community Association proudly hosted a community engagement event at the historic former Erdington Baths, offering local residents a unique opportunity to explore the building and learn about its exciting transformation into the Erdington Enterprise Hub.
This event, held after the successful ‘First Wave Launch’ in July, offered members of our community the chance to step inside the historic building in its current condition and meet the dedicated team behind the ambitious plans for its transformation into the Erdington Enterprise Hub.
This beloved local landmark, which has been closed for a decade, is set to undergo a remarkable renovation that will breathe new life into the space. Visitors had the chance to hear firsthand about our exciting vision for the baths, which aims to create a vibrant hub for entrepreneurs and community activities. The transformation is not just about restoring a building; it’s about nurturing local talent, supporting small businesses, and providing a welcoming space for residents to connect and thrive.
We were absolutely delighted to welcome key supporters of this project including Paulette Hamilton, MP for Erdington and Erdington Councillor Robert Alden – their presence underscoring the collaborative spirit that has supported this initiative over the past six years and one that continues to drives it forward.
The event was not just about showcasing our vision; it was also an opportunity for community members to share their memories of the baths and their hopes for its future. We encourage everyone in Erdington to stay involved as we move forward with this exciting project. Together, we can ensure that the Erdington Enterprise Hub becomes a thriving center of opportunity and connection for all.
