Next week, on Tuesday May 31st, we will be out and about helping our tenants spruce up the front of their homes with hanging baskets.

The activity, co-ordinated annually by the housing team at Witton Lodge Community Association, has taken a back seat in recent times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But it is back for 2022 and we are determined to make up for lost time.

This offer is for Witton Lodge Community Association, Birmingham City Council or Bromford tenants only. You can claim a FREE hanging basket and flowers to decorate the outside of your home.

And don’t worry if you’re not green fingered, we can create a basket for you and hang it on your wall with brackets.

Sessions take place next Tuesday at the following times and locations:

From 11-11.45am at the junction of Broomhill Road & Weycroft Road

From 11.45am-12.30pm on the greenspace at Monkshood Mews

From 1.30-2.15pm on the greenspace at the junction of Dovedale Road & Witton Lodge Road

From 2.15-3pm on the greenspace at the junction of Wendover Road & Dovedale Road

Brackets will be supplied and fitted by Witton Lodge with prizes for the best hanging basket – with the winners invited to the Witton Lakes Eco Hub
