The sun was shining on Perry Common in more ways than one when local school pupils joined volunteers and staff from Witton Lodge Community Association for a Spring-clean litter-pick.

Two sessions – early morning and mid-afternoon – collected an avalanche of waste off Perry Common Recreation Ground, leaving one of our most popular and attractive open spaces glistening.
