Now here’s a bus that can take you on a different type of journey!  Not from one destination to another, but a journey of reading and learning.

The Story Bus, now parked permanently in the playground at Story Wood School will be a brand new classroom space and library at the school.

And here at Witton Lodge Community Association, we are delighted to have given one of our £500 grants to provide the books on the bus.

Executive Head Teacher Mrs Jones says: “I want this space to be available to parents before and after school.  The books donated by Witton Lodge Community Association form the basis of a new library, where the children can come in scan the books and take them out.”

When you’re at Story Wood School, go and take a look.  It really is an impressive sight.
