The Erdington Neighbourhood Network Scheme (ENNS) is delighted to be hosting it’s next ‘Let’s Get Together’ event to connect local residents to health and welbeing services, groups and initiatives.

This vibrant community event takes place on Thursday May 21st at St Barnabas Church on Erdington High Street.

Building on the success of previous Let’s Get Together events, it will showcase the work of  ENNS funded assets and give visitors the chance to:

  • Learn about health and wellbeing initiatives and activities they can benefit from
  • Speak directly to organisations about their training and employment opportunities
  • Access information for community support services around a wide variety of needs

The event, which runs from 11am to 2pm,  is also a great networking opportunity

ENNS Co-ordinator, Fauzia Begum, said: “The ENNS scheme provides grants to support local communities to increase offers for older people and those with additional needs to live happier and healthier lives.

“This can include things like exercise classes, social events, skills workshops, gardening groups, mental health support and creative arts sessions.

“The groups who will be at the Lets’ Get Together event will be promoting their offers which range from wellbeing and employment support to projects that help people make new friends, learn new hobbies and develop new skills.”

Erdington NNS supports vulnerable adults across the constituency to live independent and connected lives.
