Local residents can feed on nuggets of fun during a community engagement event at McDonald’s next week.

The Community Together event has been organised in collaboration by Witton Lodge Community Association, the Kingstanding Police team and McDonald’s and is sponsored by Boss Gardens and the National Lottery. It takes place at the fast-food restaurant on College Road, Kingstanding from 12-2pm on Saturday July 12th.

Visitors can take part in a FREE planting workshop where they can plant their own creative pots and troughs to take home with them.

Witton Lodge’ staff will also be in attendance to dish out free energy and benefits advice to anyone who needs support paying their utility bills and applying for things like Universal Credit and PIP (Personal Independent Payment).

They will also be talking about how people can save energy AND money on their household bills, swap providers and better understand their bills.

This event has been created to bring our ‘Community Together’, offering a fantastic opportunity for residents to connect with a variety of local services, all in one friendly and welcoming space.

The Kingstanding Police Team, pictured here at a previous community event, will also be present to meet with residents face-to-face. Whether you have questions, concerns, or simply want to chat about life in the community, our officers are ready to listen and engage in a relaxed setting – complete with a tasty hot cuppa to enjoy while you talk.

Join us for this great event and help us bring our ‘Community Together!!’
