Job Seekers Get Commonwealth Games Chance
More than 130 people attended our employment showcase for next year’s Commonwealth Games.
A range of employers attended attended Tuesday’s event at Perry Common Community Hall including Mercury, RMF and GMS who were promoting their latest job and training vacancies. They were joined by representatives from Job Centre Plus, Sunset and Vine, FGH and G4S.
Throughout the event, employment coaches, including our own Melissa Gayle, spoke to job seekers about the opportunities that exist for working at the 2022 Commonwealth Games being held in Birmingham.
In addition to the formalities there was also a number of fun activities for young people to enjoy, co-ordinated by Witton Lodge Community Association, Urban Devotion Birmingham and The Active Wellbeing Society.
