Apply For Vacancies at Erdington Jobs Fair
Witton Lodge Community Association has partnered with Erdington BID (Business Improvement District) and Town Centre Manager, John Hodgkiss, for a Jobs Fair.
The event, being held at St Barnabas Church on Tuesday 31st January, will provide local job seekers with a chance to speak directly with employers and training providers as well as apply for live vacancies.
A previous jobs fair, held at the Church in August, brought together a range of providers offering opportunities around digital skills.
More than seventy job seekers attended the fair with most of the employment stands busy and lined with people waiting to speak to recruiters representing a range of different industries across North Birmingham.
Melissa Gayle, Employability Coordinator at Witton Lodge, said: “We had a wonderful turnout at the last event and are confident this next one will be just as popular as job fairs are a very effective way of allowing people to connect with employers. They also provide job seekers with the opportunity to interview for vacancies.”
Among those organisations attending the Jobs Fair to promote opportunities include the National Health Service, Acado, AM2PM and Mencap.
