Talent on Cue for Track Friday 2
The cream of local musical talent gathered at Perry Common Community Hall to ensure Track Friday 2 hit all the right notes.
Beeniice, Elektric, Luke Masih, Sophia Lee Soul, Jay L Booth, Judah James, Glanvan, Iamsheddy, Trill Orthodox, Jamie-Lee, Rory the Story and Kaycee Squared all took to the stage for the show which was hosted by Kaycee Light, with music from DJ Gaz H.
Organised by Dellano Lewis on behalf of Witton Lodge Community Association, the event was put together to give young people a platform to showcase their skills while providing them access to services which can support their education, training and employment needs.
Dellano, the Association’s Youth Employment Worker, also headlined the show as his creative alter-ego Beeniice.
“Track Friday is an opportunity for local people to unleash their talent,” he said. “Thank you to all the staff for supporting on the night and to those who came to see the show, the vibe was nice!”
