Job seekers across Perry Common and Wyrley Birch can now receive tailored support to boost their search for employment thanks to Witton Lodge Community Association.

People attending the weekly Work Smarter workshops at Perry Common Community Hall will have their employability status reviewed in order to strengthen their potential for work.
Delivering the information and guidance is Haleema Khathoon, Employment Coach at Witton Lodge CA.

“Taking place on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm at Perry Common Community Hall, one-hour workshops will precede the drop-in sessions,” she said.
“We will look into aspects of the job search process, from creating CVs and cover letters to perfecting interview skills. As we adopt an holistic approach to our work the health and well-being of clients is also considered so referrals for additional support can be made as necessary.”
