If you go down to Witton Lakes, you’re sure of a big surprise!  On Saturday 15th July, the Teddy Bears Picnic will be taking place.

Bring your own picnic, and teddybear, and come and enjoy a great afternoon of fun.  There’s loads going on with:

  • Bouncy Castle,
  • Ice Cream Van,
  • Eco Crafts,
  • You can Design Your Very Own Bear,
  • Fun Outdoor Games,
  • Hook a Duck,
  • And lots more.

We will also have free drinks and snacks available to add to your picnic.  It’s also a great opportunity to have a look around the Velvet Community Orchard and have a drink in the new Orchard Tearoom – as well as enjoying the park and 2 giant lakes.

The event takes place on Saturday 15th July, 12-3pm, at the big events field, near to the Velvet Community Orchard at Witton Lakes, B23 7XX.

There’s free parking available at the Car Park at Faulkners Farm Drive (access from Gipsy Lane).  You can also take the path from Perry Common Road.

The event has been organised by the Friends Of Witton Lakes and the Wyrley Birch Delivery Partnership.
