The Aston Villa Foundation is excited to announce the return of it Big Villa Sleep Out event.
This will be the fourth consecutive year (last year event’s was a virtual event). It will give people a chance to help raise money to support the Foundation’s Villa Kitchen project.
Spokeswoman Jen Tullet, said: “Villa Kitchen is our hot food initiative where we provide hot meals to the most vulnerable in our community. We currently provide around 450 meals per week and have provided around 20,000 meals since the project’s inception in January 2020.”
The Sleep Out event will take place on Friday the 8th of October at Villa Park. Participants will spend the night in the Trinity concourses.
The event will start at 7pm and finish at approximately 8am on Saturday morning. There will be entertainment/activities throughout the evening, with more details on this coming out in due course!
“There is a £25 registration fee for this year’s event and we hope, with the public’s support, to raise as much money as we can,” adds Jen.
“There will also be a reward for the highest fundraiser.”
This event is suitable for those over the age of 12 – anyone under the age of 12 will be refused entry. People are aged between 12-17 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult (over 18).
