We are always looking to improve our services. To do this we would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions. There are many ways you can do this:
Our Tenant Forums are an excellent opportunity for you to get involved and have a say on the delivery of our housing services. As an organisation, we pride ourselves on listening to tenants views and, wherever possible, acting upon these as quickly as we can. Where this is not possible, we will always explain why. But to do this, we need to hear from you!
Housing Advice Surgeries
We are happy to answer any questions in person at our office in Perry Common Community Hall, by phone or email.
Our Housing Advice Surgeries are an excellent opportunity to speak to the Housing Team directly about any housing issues; whether this is to report a repair, ask about making a payment, discuss anti-social behaviour or any other issues that you may have. Unlike the Tenant Forums, these surgeries are confidential, so you can be assured that any information discussed, will be kept in the strictest confidence.
Whilst surgeries primarily target all WLCA tenants who have issues or concerns, members of the public who need housing advice are also welcome to attend, particularly in relation to problems with their landlord, anti-social behaviour, relocation to a new property or if they have been issued a Notice Seeking Possession.
Our Housing Advice Surgeries are held:
Every Friday 2-4pm by appointment only at Perry Common Community Hall, 87 Witton Lodge Road, Perry Common, B23 5JD.
The last Friday of the month 2-4pm at Perry Common Library, also by appointment only.
For residents of Sycamore Court, there is also an advice surgery daily from 11am to 1pm.
WLCA, in partnership with Birmingham City Council, Bromford Housing and Optivo Housing Association conduct Estate Walkabouts on the second Thursday of every other month; starting at 10.30am at Perry Common Community Hall.
These last for an hour and are a great opportunity to highlight issues that need attention.
For further information, please contact Michael Lamb on 0121 382 1930 or email Michael.firstname.lastname@example.org or come into our offices at Perry Common Community Hall, between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
