A very Happy New Year from all the team here at Witton Lodge Community Association.

We have a jam-packed January of activities ahead, with everything to get you fit and healthy, stay entertained, develop new skills and to get 2017 off to a great start.  All this takes place at Perry Common Community Hall and venues around Perry Common.

If you want to get fit and healthy, there’s Slimming World, Extend Exercise Classes and the Red Hot Chilli Steppers Walking Group (who meet every Monday and go for a healthy walk around Perry Common, Witton Lakes and Brookvale Park).  If you want to get healthy and learn self-defence at the same time, there’s Aikido and starting this month, we have free Personal Safety Training (starting Monday 16th January 12:00pm at Perry Common Community Hall).

If you’re looking to improve your skills or are looking for a job, there’s our Job Club, a wide range of Skills Training Sessions and One-To-One Sessions to provide everything you need.  We are even giving grants of up to £500 to local projects and businesses that have a direct benefit to Perry Common!

Our new Orchard Tearoom at Witton Lakes will be open for business (times to be announced very shortly) and at the start of February we have a fantastic musical concert for local people to showcase their talent!  We will be having our next Quiz Night on Friday 20th January and the next Tea Dance will be on Thursday 26th of this month.

That’s just a few things to mention.  There really is lots going on, so keep checking the What’s On page of this website, our Facebook and Twitter pages and notice boards, for all the latest news.  Below is a list of What’s On During The Week (as shown on the back page of our Perry Common Matters Newsletter).
