We are delighted to kickstart 2024 with our upcoming Jobs Fair on Friday 26th January.

Our first jobs fair of the year is taking place at St Barnabas Church on Erdington High Street between 10am – 2pm. The January event will showcase a range of  employers and training organisations from a variety of sectors for local jobseekers to meet and apply for live vacancies.

Witton Lodge Community Association’s employment & training team have organised this jobs fair in the heart of Erdington to support local residents into employment, as well as find out about opportunities to improve their skillset.

Our previous jobs fair, held in October 2023 at our main hub in Perry Common brought together a range of providers offering a wide variety of employment & training opportunities and we received positive feedback from those that attended.

Our Employer Engagement Officer, Marcia Lewis said “We were thrilled to host a busy jobs fair back in October and look forward to welcoming more attendees to our January event. Job Fairs are an incredibly effective way of connecting people with employers who are recruiting for live vacancies.

“Alongside the employers attending, we will also be welcoming education and training providers to offer support and advice for those wishing to upskill.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Jobs Fair between 10am-2pm on Friday 26th January at St Barnabas Church, High Street, Erdington, Birmingham B23 6SJ”
