Witton Lodge Community Association is working as an intermediary with the Clarion Housing Group, the UK’s largest provider of affordable housing, to support the Kickstart Scheme.

Under the scheme organisations in this housing partnership have secured funding from the Government to create new job placements for 16-24-year-olds.

More than 800 six-month placements will be created across England and Wales with Government funding subsidising pay for up to 25 hour per week, at minimum wage.

Witton Lodge will create three new placement opportunities for young people to help them build their skills in the workplace, gain invaluable experience and improve their chances of finding long-term employment.

The successful individuals will receive in-work support and training, assigned a mentor to develop basic work related skills and have access wider future employment opportunities.

To apply for one of the Kickstart roles at Witton Lodge you need to be aged 16-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit.
