A Voice For Younger People

Bosses at the West Midlands Combined Authority have revealed exciting plans for launching YCA – its very own Young Combined Authority (YCA) community.

The hope is it becomes a wider engagement panel which complements the organisation’s existing YCA Board by enabling a much wider group of young people to have their say on regional policy via online surveys and, potentially, online discussions and focus groups

Anyone aged 16 to 25 years of age and living in the region is welcome to join.

A spokesperson for the WMCA  said the hope is this new ‘community’ will be inclusive of local youth council members while also reaching those not affiliated to any youth groups.
