Track Friday Artist Hour – the first live online music show delivered by Witton Lodge Community Association – hit all the right notes for fans across North Birmingham.

Featuring city based stars like Shakes Harris, Jamie-Lee Grant and Darcy Holmes, the event was the brainchild of Dellano Lewis, Employment and Engagement Officer at Witton Lodge.

The show was organised to provide an entertaining and innovative platform from which to showcase Association services; namely employment and skills, health & wellbeing and housing.

“It was about integration, inclusion and celebrating the diversity and talent that exists in North Birmingham,” said Dellano.

“But it was also an opportunity for us as an organisation to reach out to those who need help with looking for work, those in need of support and assistance for health and medical conditions and people who are in need of somewhere to live.”

The two-and-a-half hour show, hosted and presented by Dellano, on digital platform Zoom, featured interactive games and competitions alongside performances from, and interviews with, local music stars Harrison James, Jamie-Lee, Darcy Holmes, Trill Orthodox, Shakes Harris and Meliah.
