From Monday 5^th June, we are changing the times and venues for our Job Club.

The times and venues for the sessions are as follows:

 

• Tuesday’s 2:00 – 5:00pm at Kingstanding Library, Kingstanding Road (at The Circle), B44 9ST

 

• Wednesday’s 10am – 1pm at Lakeside Children’s Centre, Lakes Road, Wyrley Birch, B23 7UH

 

• Thursday’s 1:00 – 4:00pm at Sycamore Court, 46 Buxton Road, Perry Common, B23 5GA.

Directions By Public Transport

Kingstanding Library: The library is located next to the shopping centre at Kingstanding Circle.  It is served by all buses at Kingstanding Circle.  Service 5 (from Sutton Coldfield to West Bromwich), Service 96 (from Erdington to Kingstanding Circle) and services 33, 934, 935, 936 (from Birmingham City Centre).  All services from Birmingham City Centre (except service 33) stop right outside the door of the library.

There is also on-street and pay-and-display parking nearby.

 

Lakeside Children’s Centre is located on Lakes Road, Wyrley Birch.  The nearest bus services are service 7 (from Birmingham to Perry Common via The Ridgeway) or number 11A/11C (Birmingham Outer Circle).  Using service 7, get off the bus at the Gipsy Lane bus stop.  Walk along Gipsy Lane down the hill and then turn left into Faulkners Farm Drive.  Take the second left into Lakes Road and the Lakeside Children’s Centre should be on your left.

From service 11A/11C, get off the bus at Marsh Hill/Gipsy Lane.  Walk along Gipsy Lane (with Witton Lakes Park on your right hand side) and turn right into Faulkners Farm Drive.  Take the second left turn into Lakes Road and the Lakeside Children’s Centre is on your left.

Service 600 from Erdington, stops adjacent to Faulkners Farm Drive.  After getting off the bus, walk along Faulkners Farm Drive and take the second left turn into Lakes Road.  The Lakeside Children’s Centre should be on your left.

If you are driving, there’s lots of free on street parking

 

Sycamore Court is located in Perry Common.  Services 7 (from Birmingham) and service 28 (Great Barr to Small Heath) are the closest bus routes.  From bus service 7, get off the bus at St Martin’s Church or outside the shops at The Ring.  Walk along Wendover Road and turn right into Buxton Road.  Sycamore Court will be on your right.

From service 28, get off the bus at Dovedale Road.  Walk along Dovedale Road and veer left onto Wendover Road.  You will see a large apartment building on your left.  Turn left onto Buxton Road and you are at Sycamore Court.  There is also lots of on-street parking nearby.
