Do you want to be part of an exhilarating experience? Getting involved in new projects, learning new skills and helping your local community at the same time? Whether you are looking to boost your skills or simply want to get out of the house and meet new people, then we have a volunteering opportunity that suits you.
You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall; helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.
We are a friendly and welcoming team and genuinely appreciate the help of our volunteers. What’s more, all your volunteering will directly benefit the local community here in Perry Common and far beyond.

Are you an excellent administrator with a working knowledge of health, social care or community development?
With funding from Birmingham Better Care, Witton Lodge Community Association is seeking an experienced person to provide comprehensive support for the Health & Wellbeing Manager and activities associated with the Wellbeing pilot, including supporting the management of volunteers, outcomes monitoring, liaising with funders and external partners and responding to enquiries.
Working with Health & Social care providers and community organisations, we seek to change attitudes and behaviours using tools such as social prescription that lead to a step change over time in crucial areas such as, falls prevention, exercise, mobility, reducing social isolation and mental ill-health.
