BOOKKEEPER

Salary band £20,000- £24,000 p.a. pro rata Hours 21 hrs per week

Location: Perry Common, Birmingham – Accountable to Finance Manager Post term, Permanent


We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper – you will be reporting to the Finance Manager, to deliver the Associations’ bookkeeping requirements; financial administration processes, financial records and financial reporting, including book-keeping to Trial Balance’ and reconciliation of the tenant rent ledger.

FLOURISHING COMMUNITY SERVICES MANAGER

Salary band £34,000 – £40,000 p.a. Hours 37 hrs per week

Location: Perry Common, Birmingham – Accountable to Chief Officer – Post term, Permanent

We are a pioneering community anchor organisation and social enterprise creating opportunities for local people to take action to improve their lives across north Birmingham.
As we enter a new phase in the Association’s development and growth, we are seeking an experienced and enterprising individual to play a pivotal role in managing, developing and growing a broad range of community projects, services and enterprises that meet the Association’s strategic objectives.

You will be successfully implementing the Association’s development strategy, responding to new business opportunities and expanding the scope and scale of services that maximise community impact. You will be working alongside, as well as leading, motivating and developing a talented staff and volunteer team.

Volunteer With Us

Do you want to be part of an exhilarating experience?  Getting involved in new projects, learning new skills and helping your local community at the same time?  Whether you are looking to boost your skills or simply want to get out of the house and meet new people, then we have a volunteering opportunity that suits you.

You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall;  helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties Team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.

We are a friendly and welcoming team and genuinely appreciate the help of our volunteers.  What’s more, all your volunteering will directly benefit the local community here in Perry Common and far beyond.
