BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER £21,000 – £24,000 37 hrs per week – Permanent

Witton Lodge Community Association is seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to join our Employment and Skills Team to plan, prepare and deliver a range of high quality programmes designed to support learners into employment, education and training.

Working closely with the Business Development and Performance Manager the post holder will support all aspects of the revenue generation and support fundraising, business and social enterprise development to achieve the Association’s objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support development and implementation of a 3-year business development strategy incorporating social enterprise development, grant funding and contracted provision which aligns with the Association’s Strategic and Development Plans.
• Support the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy with ambitious income goals that underpin the Association’s strategic goals and accelerates income growth in a sustainable manner.
• Develop business cases for establishing social enterprises and joint ventures that deliver local outcomes and diversify / strengthen the Association’s financial base.

Witton Lodge Community Association is seeking an experienced Employment and Skills Tutor to join our Employment and Skills Team to plan, prepare and deliver a range of high quality programmes designed to support learners into employment, education and training.

To undertake full ownership of all relevant tasks which are required to facilitate excellent guided learning. To act in a way that promotes equality, fairness and has reference to Safeguarding and the Prevent agenda. We are an NCFE approved training centre with Matrix and ISO9001 Quality Standards. Do you want to be part of an exhilarating experience?  Getting involved in new projects, learning new skills and helping your local community at the same time?  Whether you are looking to boost your skills or simply want to get out of the house and meet new people, then we have a volunteering opportunity that suits you.

You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall;  helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties Team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.

We are a friendly and welcoming team and genuinely appreciate the help of our volunteers.  What’s more, all your volunteering will directly benefit the local community here in Perry Common and far beyond.
