Job Opportunities

Employment and Skills Tutor
£20,000 – £24,000 pro-rata
37 hrs per week – Fixed term (12 months)

Witton Lodge Community Association is seeking an experienced Employment and Skills Tutor to join our Employment and Skills Team to plan, prepare and deliver a range of high-quality programmes designed to support learners into employment, education and training.

To undertake full ownership of all relevant tasks which are required to facilitate excellent guided learning. To act in a way that promotes equality, fairness and has reference to Safeguarding and the Prevent agenda. We are an NCFE approved training centre with Matrix and ISO9001 Quality Standards. FINANCE MANAGER
Salary band: £34,000 – £40,000 p.a. pro rata
Hours: (Part-time) 15 hrs per week
Location: Perry Common, Birmingham
Accountable to Chief Officer
Post-term: Permanent

Following a period of development and growth, we are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Finance Manager. Working with colleagues, Board members and external stakeholders you will oversee, manage and further develop the Association’s financial systems, processes and records.

Witton Lodge Community Association champions the development of Perry Common as a thriving neighbourhood. We are a pioneering community anchor organisation and housing provider creating opportunities for local people to take action to improve their lives. Volunteer With Us

Do you want to be part of an exhilarating experience?  Getting involved in new projects, learning new skills and helping your local community at the same time?  Whether you are looking to boost your skills or simply want to get out of the house and meet new people, then we have a volunteering opportunity that suits you.

You could be working in our busy office here at Perry Common Community Hall;  helping our residents at our Sycamore Court Extra Care Scheme; helping to organise one of our many community events; assisting the Homes and Properties Team; working on our busy reception desk; computer work; distributing our publicity – or anything else you can think of.

We are a friendly and welcoming team and genuinely appreciate the help of our volunteers.  What’s more, all your volunteering will directly benefit the local community here in Perry Common and far beyond.
